then Wattle Flat and Sofala offer plenty of opportunities to satisfy your needs. You can go gold panning in one of the creeks on the Homestead (you will be lucky to find any gold but why not try any way!). |

the ideal place for searching for a bit of colour. For the novice of course we can show you the basic techniques and there are gold panning tours/lessons available via local tour operators.
